“Broomride” is Stunning! Full Restoration in 2018 (from the Anchor light to the Shaft Seals, all was Replaced, Rebuilt or Repowered), with continued Upgrades. Repowered with a pair of Cummins 6BTA5.9 (Factory Reconditioned Engines) at 300 hp each, 905 hrs on these motors, and dripless shaft seals. This 1969 Hatteras 34 Sedan was meticulously restored in 2018 with many upgrades including removal of Balsa and recoring of the decks with Modern Foam core material. New hardtop and outriggers, upgraded helm seat, Anchor Windlass, all new Deck Hardware and Thru-Hulls, redesigned cockpit with Livewell and Tackle Center and Large Transom fishbox, Simrad Electronics, Fusion stereo, Rewired and upgraded to ABYC Standards, Modern Vac-U-Flush toilet, two new HVAC units (8k and 16k systems), a third fuel tank was added to extend the Cruising Range, All cabin windows replaced, rebedded with modern Fiberglass frames. Old School Class with Modern Equipment and Amenities!!In 2018 she was completely refit, literally from the Mast Light to the Shaft Seals. Deck were re-cored, Hull and Topsides were repainted, she was completely rewired to modern ABYC standards, completely re-plumbed, Repowered with twin Cummins Factory Re-cons (factory reconditioned motors) 6BTA5.9 300hp each, new Transmissions, new dripless shaft seals, Cockpit was reconfigured and modernized, the Bridge was Modernized with all new Switch panels and gauges, new Simrad Electronics Package (Two screens, GPS Plotter, StructureScan and Broadband Transducers, Radar, Autopilot), Icom VHF, Fusion Stereo with Helm remote and Head Unit in the Salon, Cabin was Updated, Windows removed, new glass installed and new Fiberglass window frames installed, 2 new HVAC Units, new Galley, New stereo, New Vac-U-Flush toilet, and the Master Stateroom was redone as well, you get the picture.
