This 1981 Bertram 42 Sport-Fish is one of the most popular sport fishing vessels of its time. Her exceptional seakeeping abilities, superb fishability, and quality construction earned for the Bertram 42 a reputation as a classic design. With the added Marlin tower this boat is designed for going big and deep. She has a spacious salon, step down galley, and two staterooms with a dual access head provide the amenities needed for those long fishing trips. Her foredeck includes tender chocks and a Marquipt 650 lb electric winch.
On the flybridge her electronics include Garmin 7212 with XM radar and Simrad Autopilot. add four VHF radios (1 Tower / 2 Flybridge / 1 Salon). The tower has throttle, transmission and VHF radio.
This Bertram is powered by two Detroit Diesels with twin Turbos putting out 475 HP each. With her 500 gallon fuel capacity, her range is 300-500 miles at a cruising speed of 18 knots, Add in her Isuzu/BMX diesel generator, which puts out 12KW of power, she is made for those extended fishing trips.
